My Fitness and Yoga Rocks at Appleby College! (Ages 9 – 15)
We are offering a 2012 Summer Camp program at Appleby College in Oakville Ontario!
Summer campers at Appleby College Camps will experience an exciting
week of fitness, friendship and fun! Appleby's scenic 60-acre campus on
Lake Ontario offers an outstanding backdrop for this great Fitness and
Yoga Camp! Camp runs for mornings only from 9:00 am – Noon with drop off
as early as 8:00 am and you can combine the program to create a full
day of camp as well!
Setting the right foundation for lifelong dedication to health and
exercise can be very beneficial to young people. This half-day program
combines a daily exercise regimen combining core body,
strength-training, flexibility, speed work and conditioning in measures
that are appropriate for the age, abilities and interests of each
participant. Yoga Rocks is joining forces with Appleby College Camps
to provide participants with comprehensive training in different yoga
poses, breathing, strength and balance. Yoga Rocks Instructors focus on
exercising the body while developing an overall sense of well-being,
fostering mental clarity and reduces stress. More than just a workout,
fun challenges and goals are set to make for an engaging morning. This
camp is about setting "attitude" and making improvements so budding
athletes will leave with a program suitable for their development.
Recreational swimming time is included.
